Hannah is a professional horn player and educator based in Boston, MA. Hannah is the Resident Artist in horn at the University of New Hampshire as well as on faculty at All Newton Music School in Newton, MA and Note-worthy Experiences. She currently serves as Second Horn of the Worcester Symphony Orchestra and Section Horn in the Du Bois Orchestra of Cambridge, MA and is an active freelance orchestral and chamber musician throughout New England.
Hannah holds a Master of Music in horn performance from New England Conservatory, and a dual BA/BS in music and physics from Case Western Reserve University. Hannah's teachers have included Jason Snider of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Meghan Guegold Hege of the Cleveland Orchestra, and Eli Epstein at New England Conservatory Preparatory School. In 2023 she was a member of the American Institute of Musical Studies orchestra in Graz, Austria. Other festivals she has attended include Domaine Forget de Charlevoix Brass Workshop in 2023, Sewanee Summer Music Festival in 2021, and Kendell Betts Horn Camp in 2017.
In addition to orchestral and chamber performance, Hannah believes strongly in the importance of community engagement. To this end, she worked with NEC's Community Performances and Partnerships (CPP) office as a teaching fellow, through which she served as a brass teaching assistant in a Boston area charter school. She has also participated in CPP's Holiday Ensemble Fellowship, bringing holiday concerts to nursing homes and retirement communities with her horn quartet. From 2021-2023 she held an internship with Music for Food, an organization dedicated to using music to fight food insecurity locally.
